Anthropologie Inspired Caplet Shrug
I just started working on the Anthropologie Inspired Caplet Shrug posted on the Craftsers site. I'm using Lion Brand Sportweight yarn that I had left over from a project from a few years ago. I've doubled the yarn and went up to a size 13 needle to get the 3 st/per inch gauge. It is knitting up pretty fast.
I worked on it last night while we watch The Prestige on Pay-Per-View. Interesting movie. I liked it but it was hard to keep up with at times.
The shrug is a nice break from the toe-up socks I'm working on. I've finished one of those and started the second. I plan on working on both these projects so that neither gets left unfinished.
I'm notorious for that. I have a half-finished cardigan I started from awhile back that I'm thinking of frogging.
I think I'm going to use the yarn for another of these shrugs and/or the Josephine Top in the Summer 2007 Interweave Knits magazine. There is KAL on the Craftser list that just started a week or so ago that has me inspired. I'd like to get a cotton blend for the top, but I'm thinking that I probably won't wear something like that until it gets cooler and by then a wool blend would probably be better.

I love that caplet and it is next on my list! I'm glad to see that you doubled up the yarn! I'm making notes! LOL
Be sure to read the KAL on Craftsters to get other tips. I read about doubling the yarn there. I was able to use yarn I already had, rather than have to go out an buy new bulky yarn just for the pattern.
I made that caplet a few months ago. It is a fun project. I love the color you chose.
